One Note Enterprises is a small business dedicated to providing affordable personal computer consulting and support to small businesses and families in the North Atlanta area.

Personal computers require maintenance in order to operate at peak efficiency. Larger businesses can afford to hire an Information Systems staff to provide that maintenance. However, the small business owner, with an office consisting of from one to ten PCs, generally can't afford that type of expense. They tend to rely on a friend or the one person in the office who seems comfortable with PCs to help out with problems, but no actual maintenance is ever done.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Just like your car, a tune-up should help.

Our hope and intent is to provide the confused with clear, concise explanations of many PC Owners' & Users' sources of bewilderment.

Most of the technical terms used on the 'PC Maintenance' and 'Networks, Etc.'  pages will show up as links (underlined and in lighter blue type). If you move your mouse over the link without clicking it, a little flag will show up that will give you a short definition of the word. If you click the link, you will go to the matching location in the PC Primer. Just click your back button to return to where you were.
